Experiment description
In this experiment we are going to perform an activity to observe phototropism in a germinating bean plant. The plant is exposed to light from one direction, and we observe how the shoot bends towards the light while the root grows away from it. The direction of light is then changed to observe how the new growth of the shoot and root responds. This experiment demonstrates how light influences the direction of plant growth.
